• We have worked with international NGOs to help them adopt mycologically inclusive language (e.g., www.rewild.org).
• We have worked with the IUCN SSC presidency and the IUCN SSC Fungal Conservation Committee to help IUCN further adopt mycologically inclusive language.
• We have helped persuade organizations to change their name when plant or animal terminology were used to speak of fungi (e.g., the newly named Fungal Diversity Survey, formerly the North American Mycoflora Project).
• We have helped advance the widespread use of the term “funga” throughout Latinamerica and other parts of the world.
